The Experience
Lifestyle photography in the comfort of a private home with access to changing facilities, bathrooms, parking, architectural backdrops and stunning views.
As well as "on location" sessions, I offer shoots in a private setting in central Guildford overlooking the Surrey Hills. The garden offers a range of wonderful settings come rain or shine throughout the year.
In Spring the flowers fill the garden, in Summer we pick apples and blackberries, in Autumn trees are awash with gorgeous colours and Winter brings frosty mornings and beautiful light.
The interiors of the house are modern and full of architectural features including a stone spiral stair, silhoutte corridor and a luxurious, spacious sitting room. Something to suit everyone.

How it Works
Step 01
Getting comfortable
Prior to the shoot we can discuss any requests you have for your session. Every beautiful family I capture is unique so your shoot should be too. We can talk about styling, what to wear and any other queries you may have.
Baby shoots often take place at home so everything you need is to hand and I can capture all the wonderful new baby moments in the comfort of your own home.
Step 02
Being your beautiful selves
I find the best way to start a session is not to whip the camera out straight away. I let families ease into their shoot, children explore the surroundings and we have a chat so everyone is relaxed. I work in a very natural way, no posing or forced smiles. I may suggest or gently direct but mainly it's about organic imagery.
Step 03
Editing your photos
I like to offer a wide variety of images for my families, from playing in the garden and reading stories to picking apples and blowing bubbles. In family shoots I am guided by what children like to do. There will be a mixture of colour and black and white photos.
Step 04
Choosing memories to treasure
You will recieve a minimum of 100 photos to choose from from your session. All images will be edited and when you have made your selection they will be sent to you digitally.

How to get additional images?The package prices include two digital images from the shoot. Extra images are priced at £25 per image. Alternatively all of the images are available for an additional £200.

What photography experience do you have?I have been photographing professionally for over a decade. I've had the huge privilege of working with some wonderful clients including Dior, Tate Museums, Somerset House, The Princes Trust, Van Cleef & Arpel, Uber, Harrods, The Elton John Foundation, The Tower of London and the Houses of Parliament. My main focus has always been people, people, people! I've worked at various events that are often quick paced so I'm used to capturing fleeting moments. I have two children of my own to appreciate the little nuances of little ones and how to get the best out of them during a shoot.

What happens if it rains?One thing we can't count on is the weather! I always keep an eye on the forecast but if you would like an outdoor session and we need to rearrange due to rain that's no problem at all.

What's the best time of year for a session?This is an easy one - Any time! Every season offers a different wonderful opportunity. Spring is full of flowers and the forests are full of bluebells, Summer is fruit picking in the garden and playing outside, Autumn is fall leaves and haybales, Winter is beautiful light and cosy knits. All year round offers something beautiful.

How do I select my images?You will be sent a link to an online gallery with the full selection of digital edited images. There will be at least 100 images to choose from, you can select the image numbers you would like to have. These images will then be sent in high resolution for you to download.
